Misteryosa, Shari Cruz, writes in her blog,

A few years ago (I think that was in 2001, when I was a sophomore), I was accused by one Pisay student to be a nerd — just like everybody else in QueSci, she said. I was just called a nerd by some girl with pigtails, wearing glasses, and had braces. I almost laughed at her face. I didn’t even know what led her to publicly flame me like that. I never took Pisay’s entrance test because I wasn’t ready to be called a “walking robot” yet, though I must admit that the monthly stipend of the students there was tempting. But I still went for QueSci. Nearer, more accessible, and most of all, it’s just behind a famous mall. And we had an award-winning school choir.

After that incident, I’ve become very vocal on my preference for MaSci over Pisay. I don’t think that’s ever gonna change, but that doesn’t mean I don’t admire the Pisay students. Still, I have yet to be impressed by them top high school students in the Philippines.

And the project of Sir Martin Perez and his students might be “the start of something new”. Pisay Meets World showcases the various projects done by Pisay students. I’ve checked out the “entries”, and I must say that they look very promising. Bookmarked.

Thank you very much, Shari, for checking out our projects. I hope this project, Pisay Myths’ World, is something for all those who want to learn more about today’s Pisay people. :)
