The Lesson Plan

Lifehouse goes back to The First Time

Posted in Uncategorized by Sir Martz on 8 May 2007

Lifehouse releases their fourth studio album, “Who We Are” on June 26. They’re going back to basics in this album.

Stated front man Jason Wade (credit: Alternative Addiction),

“I wanted to get back to our roots and make a rock record again,” group leader Jason Wade according to Billboard.com. “I feel like our (self-titled) last record, leading off with ‘You and Me,’ the ballad, it kinda softened us up a little bit. I think people forget that we started off as an alternative band, then we kinda got immersed in that Adult Top 40 and Top 40 world. This time it was really refreshing just to plug our guitars back in and crank it up and play some up-tempo rock music.”

Check out their upcoming single “The First Time” which does just that:

This and Fuel’s upcoming album are at the top of my 2007 wait list.
