Blogosphere reviews and reflections on “Pisay”

The following post is a link to all the reviews (or what passes for reviews) and reflections on Auraeus Solito’s Pisay (official website). This has also been inspired by my previous post, and now I’d like to see what everyone else has to say.

I’m throwing in reflections since most of the reviews I’ve found are written by Pisay scholars themselves, and they found it rather tough to write an objective review given their emotional investment in the material.

I am also indexing these entries as I wait for the time I can write and publish my own. However, I won’t be doing a straightforward review but instead will talk about the film in the context of my own unique Pisay experience, specifically as a non-alumnus thrust into the world of the science scholar.

And Auraeus, if you’re reading, a lot of the people here are asking a very important question: Where can we get a Pisay t-shirt? :)

    Auraeus ito.

    Available ang shirts mamaya sa UP Film Center Screening at 5 pm (July 31), at tsaka sa PSHS foundation Gala screenings sa August.

    Also, ito pa pala ang 2 best reviews(so far) ng respected critics’ Sylvia Mayuga at Mario Bautista (of Urian). At di sila taga Pisay.
