The Lesson Plan

“Kamalayan” is wonderfully successful, thanks to Auraeus, Maskara, ‘09 and AKSIS!

(NOTE: The Pisay Life page has been updated with some pictures from this.)

I would call it an accidental success. We had very little time to bring it all together, and on the day itself we were all left on edge as we waited for it to begin. But when it all went down, it went down well. Very well.

Congratulations to all the presenters! DR (watch performance), RD and Regina (watch performance) have done ‘09 proud. And Maskara (watch performance) was simply awesome. Just awesome. (Thanks to Gaby for these videos!)

Auraeus — hats off to you! Towards the end of your speech, you spoke about not giving in to hubris, and you have shown us that even before you spoke. Your waiting with us and for us was just really awesome of you. Thank you very much! I hope we didn’t cause you much trouble in your next venue.

And last but not the least, thanks to AKSIS and the officers who helped bring everything together. Give yourselves a pat on the back. We’ve done well given the time we’ve had. I’m proud of you guys and I look forward to many more great things with you! We’re just getting started. :)

What follows is a slide show of some highlights from the event!
